Lenovo has given its Legion gaming range its annual refresh, but the real star of the show is the new Legion Slim 7i – a lightweight laptop packing Nvidia’s RTX 2060 Max-Q graphics.
When you think ‘gaming laptop’, the terms slim and light usually aren’t worth saying. However, the Legion Slim 7i aims to shun that stereotype, by putting a bucket-load of top-notch tech in a case just 18mm thick.
According to Lenovo, it’s the lightest 15.6-inch gaming laptop this well specced. It comes packed with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q graphics, an Intel Core i9 and up to 32GB or RAM and 2TB of storage.
Elsewhere, Lenovo has given its Legion 7 and Legion 5 lines a refresh. The former is Lenovo’s more high-end gaming machine, complete with additional cooling technology to really push its 10th generation Core i7 and Nvidia GeForce RTX cards to the max.
The Legion 5 has been given a cleaner, more minimalist design. It rocks either Intel’s 10th gen i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 processors, as well as Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics.
Finally, Lenovo has upgraded its Legion Tower 5. You get liquid-cooling as standard, as well as an internal build that has been built to be overclocked. Under the hood, you get an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super GPU – which will handle 4K resolution easily. You also get the customary LEDs, because how else would you know this is for gaming.
All these models are available right now at Sharaf DG and amazon.ae (with the exception of the Legion 5 AMD Ryzen model, which will be coming out next month).
