Announced at what would have been Mobile World Congress this year, Lenovo's ThinkPad X13 Yoga (the successor to the ThinkPad X390 Yoga) is what sits right below the ThinkPad X1 Yoga. New to this year's models are 10th-generation Intel Core processors, Unified Communication keys, and Dolby Audio.
You might recall that I recently reviewed the ThinkPad L13 Yoga, and if they seem similar, it's because they are. Indeed, Lenovo has tons of different ThinkPad lineups, many of which are very similar to the next. What's different about the X13 Yoga is, simply put, that it's more premium.
Instead of being made out of magnesium and glass fiber reinforced plastic, the X390 Yoga is made out of carbon fiber and magnesium. And it weighs in at just 2.76 pounds, making it nearly a quarter-pound lighter than the X1 Yoga and 0.09 pounds lighter than last year's ThinkPad X390 Yoga.
The unit that Lenovo sent me also, surprisingly, has cellular connectivity. I'm excited about that, since I love cellular connectivity on laptops, and I've been asking Lenovo to send me cellular ThinkPads for years.
