Law360 (July 21, 2020, 6:15 PM EDT) -- Lenovo has hit back against InterDigital's government-backed bid to toss a suit alleging it violates antitrust law through licensing practices for its standard-essential patents, contending that InterDigital acquired its monopoly position for cellular technology through an unlawful scheme.

Lenovo and its Motorola Mobility LLC unit filed a brief Monday in Delaware federal court opposing InterDigital Technology Corp.'s motion to dismiss the suit targeting the patent licensing company's efforts to get patents incorporated into industry standards and its allegedly high royalty demands.
